Dr. Jeremy La Motte

Medical Director

Dr. Jeremy La Motte was born and raised in the Southern California area. He attended UCLA for his undergraduate training with a major in Physiological Sciences. For medical school, Dr. La Motte attended the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. There, he met his wife and later had three energetic boys together.

After medical school, Dr. La Motte received his post-graduate training at the In His Image Family Medicine Residency Program in Tulsa, OK. He is currently board certified in Family Medicine. During residency, he had several opportunities to do medical relief work after the major earthquake in Pakistan and the tsunami in Indonesia. This is where he developed a passion for International Medicine. In 2010, his family moved to Nepal where he worked at a mission hospital for 3 ½ years. After residency, Dr. La Motte gained invaluable experience working in the Emergency Department, teaching at the Family Medicine Residency Program and volunteering on a mobile medical van for underserved areas in Tulsa.


Shira Klane

Nurse Practitioner

Shira graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions with her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing, with specialties in Adult/Gerontology Primary Care and Women's Health. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison before moving to Boston to pursue her nursing education. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and is deeply committed to behavioral measures to optimize health. She focuses on promoting wellness rather than just treating illness and is highly motivated to work with patients to improve their quality of life.


Mandeep Walia, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Walia graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences. Before entering her studies in Los Angeles, Dr. Walia received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees, with specialties in Biology and Physiology from McMaster University - Hamilton, Canada. It was during this time that she was involved in research programs funded by the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.


Richard Theobald, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

A third generation Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate, Dr. Theobald earned his degree in 1988.


-He holds a certificate of attainment in the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, 1988.


-In addition to his California license, he has obtained licensure in Oklahoma (’06), Utah (’05), and Idaho ('05).


-He is an Independent Disability Evaluator (IDE), having earned that credential from the Los Angles College of Chiropractic, 1999.


-He is also a Radiology X-Ray Supervisor and Operator within the state of California since 1989.


-He was a long time Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) for the state of California (1999-2007), during which he cared for literally thousands of injured workers, at one point at three separate offices in southern California area.


-Dr. Theobald has a deep fundamental understanding of the original tenets of the profession framed within the proper historical context in which they were created, and is able to apply that knowledge with today's current scientific information base thus providing a unique combination of up to date care and advice, coupled with an appreciation for a profession that has existed for over 100 years.


He is a member of the California Chiropractic Association, The San Diego Chiropractic Society, The ICA Council on Chiropractic Philosophy, The Palmer International Alumni Association and the professional chiropractic fraternity Delta Delta Pi.


Daniel Clement, PT

Director of Rehabilitation

Daniel obtained his B.S. in Biology in 2008 from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He then completed his Masters in Physical Therapy in 2011 from the University of Toronto. Daniel is experienced in both orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. He has also taken several post-graduate courses in advanced manual therapy, and is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor from the American Physical Therapy Association. His treatment philosophy is based on an individualized approach to care and educating his patients to improve their self-management skills.
